Licensed Plumbing and HVAC Experts Since 1994
Black Plumbing Heating & Air started in 1994 as a family-owned plumbing company with a single crew in Abilene, Texas. More than 30 years later, the same family runs a full plumbing, heating and air conditioning company with offices in Abilene, Big Spring, Brownwood, Cleburne, Kerrville, Lubbock and San Angelo, and crews on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our work covers the house and the businesses around it: drain cleaning, leak and slab leak detection, water heater repair and replacement (tank and tankless), water softeners and filtration, sewer line repair, septic service, commercial plumbing, and air conditioning and heating repair, replacement and maintenance.
Licensed in both trades
Plumbing work is performed under Texas plumbing license M-40900. Heating and air conditioning work is performed under Texas ACR license TACLA145786C. Holding both licenses means one company can handle a water heater, a gas line and an AC system in the same home without handing the job off.
How we work
The way customers describe us in their reviews is the way we want to work. Our technicians call ahead before they arrive, look for the real cause instead of the quick patch, explain what they found and the options in plain terms, and give a price estimate before any work starts. When the job is done, we test it and clean up the space we worked in.
